Marvine is one of sixteen K-5 elementary schools in the Bethlehem Area School District, located in the northeast section of Bethlehem, PA. We serve a culturally diverse population of approximately 320 students, with a high proportion of children considered at-risk. Marvine is designated as a schoolwide Title I school, with three reading specialists, three ESOL teachers, and a READ180 teacher to meet the needs of our student population. Two Intermediate Unit classrooms and the Marvine Family Center are housed in our building as well.

The Family Center provides counseling, clinic services, and special programs to meet the needs of the families in the surrounding community. In addition, our school day begins earlier than other elementary schools in the district and ends earlier, with time for individual and small group tutoring at the end of the school day.

Mission Statement
