A to Z Teacher Stuff: Provides links for finding lesson ideas. Links are organized by theme for thematic unit resources, by author for book activities, and by topic. There are also links to sources for discounted professional educational resources.


B.J. Pinchbeck's Homework Helper Teacher's Corner: Contains many links to sites providing lesson plans for English, math, science, history, social studies, and more.


Classroom Connect: Resource Station provides web-linked activities, internet projects, and internet-enhanced lessons math, science, social studies, and language arts for grades K-12. Features articles from the Classroom Connect newsletter about using the internet as a teaching resource.


Collaborative Lesson Archive: Teachers can submit and share thematic teaching units and lesson plans at any school level- preschool through undergraduate. Visitors are able to search the lesson archive by subject, title, or grade level.


Cyber Exchange: Cyber Exchange for Educators focuses on language arts curriculum. Lesson plans, internet projects, and power point presentations are available for grades 1-5.


Free Software: Demos, shareware, evaluation copies, and freeware are available to download. Software topics include art, computing skills, English skills, geography and geology, math, music, preschool, science and engineering, screen savers, vocabulary and spelling, writing and literature, and many more.


The Global Schoolhouse: Teachers can connect with other classrooms around the world and participate in global internet-based learning projects. Tips on building your own project, project archives, information on video conferencing, contests, and articles are available.


Homework Central Teachers' Page: Contains resources for classroom management and organization, learning and physical disabilities, curriculum and lesson plans for grades K-12, teachers' professional resources, education and the Web, school projects, free stuff, and student contests.


Instructor magazine: Features online articles for teachers and ready-to-use reproducibles for subjects including math, phonics, reading, science, social studies, spelling, and writing.


K-12 Lesson Ideas for Literature: Provides access to books and websites that contain teaching suggestions related to books for children and young adults. Books indexed are those held by the Doucette Library of Teaching Resources, but many are also available in other libraries.


Language Arts Lessons: Provides links to sites containing language arts activities and lesson plans in the areas of listening and speaking, reading, literature, spelling, vocabulary development, grammar, writing, and research for grades K-12.


Lesson Plans: This site offers numerous teacher-created lesson plans from the Columbia Education Center. Subjects include language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and miscellaneous topics for grades K-12.


Lesson Plans K-6: Lesson plans are divided into primary grades (K-3) and intermediate grades (4-6). Subjects include reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies.


Link 2 Learn: Provides numerous lesson plans which include internet-based activities. Lesson plans are grouped for elementary school, middle school, and high school. Subjects include fine arts, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.


Literature-based Lesson Plans & Activities: Provides links to extension activities and lesson plans for specific book titles. Books are arranged by author and are appropriate for grades K-12. Many books have several links to different websites containing activities and lessons.


Mailbox Magazine: Previews current issues of Mailbox Magazine for preschool, kindergarten, primary, and intermediate grades. Contains holiday and seasonal ideas, information on free and almost free stuff, and reviews of educational software.


Marc Sheehan's Lesson Plans Page: Provides several math and science lesson plans for grades K-5. Lists numerous links to general lesson plan sites and specific subject lessons/resources.


ProTeacher: Huge website with teacher resources for lesson planning, classroom management, networking with other teachers, child development information, educational technology, language arts, math, humanities, social studies, science, and physical education.


Puzzlemaker: Programs allow the visitor to create custom-made puzzles and games, including mazes, word searches, crossword puzzles, number blocks, math squares, and cryptograms, and more.


Readers' Theatre: Provides short scripts for readers' theatre in a variety of genres for grades 2 and up. Includes a guide to scripting, staging, and performing readers' theatre, an e-mail list for discussing readers' theatre and sharing scripts, and information about online and other resources for readers' theatre.


Readers' Workshop: Provides a plan for organizing and implementing Readers' Workshop targeted for third grade, but applicable to all elementary grades. Includes many mini-lesson plans that include journal writing and sharing activities, along with evaluation and assessment procedures.


Weekly Reader: Provides articles and information for teachers and parents of students in grades K-10. Includes skill building activities, art projects, science experiments, and contests.
